GREEN WALL CASE STUDY

Central section is separate to allow for deeper root movement in the module.

The outer shell of the module acts as a root barrier preventing penetration. 

PROJECT: Deansgate Metrolink Station

INSTALLATION BY: ANSGLOBAL

The metrolink station has been transformed into a calm and peaceful green environment for the passengers to enjoy while waiting for their tram. With trees, a living wall and sedum panels teeming with wildflowers between the tram tracks, the sound caused by the tram is reduced.  

APPLICATION

Small outdoor spaces used as a garden for users to come in contact with nature. The garden also act as a facade protection from the rainwater, moderating the temperature too.

GREEN WALL

Green wall at the entrance of bath house calms the users as they approach the bath house, creating a relaxing environment. It also doubled up as facade protection from the hot open air bath at the basement. It will reduces the condensation of water droplets. 

Using vegetation as a partition to separate the bath area and the preparing area, it provides a sense of privacy without confining the space. It also served as a sound insulation
