I chanced upon this moment while walking through a city park. The two ponds blended nicely with the surrounding, creating a tranquil environment. Being curious to explore the pond, I walked on the wooden deck to cross to the other side of the park.

Hello Stranger!

The first pond was filled with lotus leaves and fallen leaves. No one was in the pond and there was just a girl sitting at the edge of the wooden deck trying to reach out to the ducks in the water. I love how the extension of wooden deck allows people to experience the feel of being in the centre of the water without getting wet.

A man was playing with his dog at the side of the pond. The man shared with us that dogs are commonly not allowed in the pool and thus he will usually visit the park to swim with his dog. What if, pets are allowed in the bath house?

Some were swimming, some were soaking their legs and some were just enjoying the peace. I love how the water connects the people. When they are out of the water, everyone sit in their own comfort zones. But when they are in the water, they swim around and come into contact with strangers.
